Over tea, Merryn Trevethan presents The Party’s Over, a body of work based on observations of the city and recent geopolitical changes occurring across the world. Trevethan investigates urban landscape as a way a city – or even a country – could define itself through its architectural landmarks or through its spatial configuration. In this work she captures the essence of the city through an artful selection of colour and composition to integrate the familiarity of the global idea and the local atmosphere of the city.
