Beginning with its roots in the revolt against the dominant painting mediums by The Artists Village collective, Dr. Jay will introduce the pioneers who began using new media and approaches in their art making.

Techniques and Strategies used on Contemporary Art practices by Daryl Goh
Next, artist and curator Daryl Goh will unveil the current and next generation of Singapore’s artists and will explain the underlying ideas and practices that constitute the body of work of some of the Singapore’s most renowned artists.
30 September 2015, 7pm – 9pm
Singapore Visual Arts Eco-System by Paul Khoo
The economics of Contemporary Art in Singapore will be covered in the final session where Art Historian Paul Khoo will discuss the city’s visual arts eco-system and the challenges facing by the galleries in our market.
