‘The Time flows… and a Symphony’ by Hye Soon Seo consists of seven sound videos and one sound session. The Time flows… And a Symphony, the title of the exhibition and the work, tells stories of the environment, movement, and sounds in daily life and their changes. It focuses on the works Seo created in which she created over the pandemic crisis between the end of 2019 and 2022. Movement between countries after the pandemic is not as usual as before. Physical distance sometimes creates an imaginary space. Seo imagines musical notes in the landscape moving and encountering a subtle network that is invisible and incomprehensible. Sounds are found in places by chance. Sounds found in these mental and imaginary spaces appear and disappear along the network of waves, like a symphony.
