Ever wondered what it’s like to shop in an art exhibit? Then come on down to Liang Court from June 6 to July 17 to be a part of a one-of-a-kind interactive art experience at THE WORMHOLE exhibition. Conceptualized by art and design studio 아이오이 (aheeoee) in partnership with Liang Court, THE WORMHOLE exhibition promises an interactive experience and plenty of surprises for shoppers and artists alike.
THE WORMHOLE exhibition is a sequel from the “Tales of Pao” narrative, featuring a machiya (traditional Japanese architecture) that came through a wormhole and landed in the center of the shopping mall. The architecture of the machiya will be built progressively and this visible transformation invites shoppers to interact with the process of evolution. In addition, weekend performances by the artists will give shoppers the opportunity to get an up close and personal look into life inside the machiya.
THE WORMHOLE will be on view from 6 June to 17 July 2016 at Level 2 event space, Liang Court, 177 River Valley Road, Singapore 179030. Admission is free, opening hours are from 10am – 10pm daily.
