Timeless is a solo exhibition featuring paintwork by Singaporean artist Ng Yak Whee. Timeless is an abstract interpretation on the themes of nature, love, hope, solitude, joy and friendship. This retrospective exhibition will feature his works, which span over 40 years, from 1978 to 2018. A multiple award winner, Ng has pushed the boundaries of art, with works characterised by his explorative process, innovation, fantasy and poetry. Believing that art is not just visual, Ng’s paintings are often Basement 4, ION Orchard imbued with his love for poetry. His recent works personify his dreams, hopes, memories and stories about life.
