To Listen is To Play – how sound technology has shaped experimental practices of music by DJ Sniff

This talk will provide a historical account of how technology has introduced ideas of resonance, amplification, and noise into the practice of music, as well as how contemporary experimentalism in Asia has allowed to break away from institutionalised notions of music, leading to an inclusiveness of listening and community building.
