Ota Fine Arts is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Tomoko Kashiki. Characterised with dream-like ambient scenery where the dividing line between imagination and reality vanishes, the Kyoto-based artist’s works have been well-received globally. Her intricate brushwork and unique use of linen stretched over wooden panel is another prominent characteristic of her work.
This exhibition presents Kashiki’s most recent works, where inspiration is derived from the moment a certain word and image click together in her mind. Her recent solo exhibitions include Tomoko Kashiki ~Daydream~, at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Japan, in 2016.
