Too Young to be a Mom – By Nhan Tran Thi Thanh

Nhan Tran Thi Thanh documents the life of child brides in the North of Vietnam through intimate portraits, still lifes, and photos of living spaces, accompanied by audio interviews. The artist seeks to understand these young mothers’ inner lives and to create a healing space for the psychological toll of darting from adolescence to maturity all too quickly.
