In partnership with Singapore-based non-profit art organization The Institutum, Nouri will present a selection of works from one of Singapore Art Week’s highlight shows, Translations: Afro-Asian Poetics. Curated by renowned art historian Dr Zoé Whitley, Translations is a large-scale, groundbreaking survey dedicated to the vibrant and interconnected narratives of Africa and Asia and its diasporas. The exhibition is a unique opportunity for audiences to encounter iconic works by artists such as Theaster Gates, Do Ho Suh, The Otolith Group, Dinh Q. Lê and Lee Wen, amongst several others, drawn from significant private collections across the region.
