UN*LISTED is Singaporean painter Danny Raven Tan’s first solo exhibition after surviving pancreatic cancer in 2010. Danny was mentored by Mr Poh Siew Wah, a Singaporean artist known for his powerful abstract and expressionistic paintings, for two years when he was a student at Nanyang Junior College.
Danny thought that his last career stop would be as a marketing manager at LASALLE College of the Arts, but after six glorious years, various compunctious incidents strung up like pearls on a necklace and pushed him to take a leap of faith. In 2015, Danny left LASALLE and a unique art appreciation concept called THE TIFFIN GALLERY was born.
Conceptual, impressionistic and provocative – some might even say Danny’s works are controversial.
