“Utsuroi” is a Japanese word and it means change and transformation.
Tokyo Gallery SG is proud to present the first ever photo exhibition by Dan Takeda, “Utsuroi”. The exhibition will take place at Tokyo Gallery SG from August 26th to September 4th, 2017.
DAN TAKEDA
Born in Yokohama in 1981, Dan’s journey in the realm of flower artistry began in 2005, in a renowned flower boutique in Tokyo.
His love of flowers and passion for creating artistic floral arrangements has lead him to establish his eponymous company DAN TAKEDA FLOWER & DESIGN in Singapore, in 2008. It’s in the happiness he brings to people through his beautiful creations, that the artist finds the most gratitude.
Today, his eye for styling flowers in a refreshingly unique manner has gained him recognition from luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Van Cleef & Arpels, as well as from the leading department store Takashimaya.
Dan is also actively involved in various creative projects in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Japan. Aside from displays, Dan also creates flower arrangements for various events and wedding ceremonies.
