望 (Wàng) – An Exhibition on Loss, Grief and Hope | Grief Matters by Montfort Care

What does “望” mean to you?

Themes of emotional transition after bereavement – from despair to hope and disappointment to wishing – are weaved into the artworks of Tan Meng How, a 78-year-old who explores the poignant journey of loss, grief and hope. A sole caregiver to his belated wife, Mr Tan is a local self-taught artist who creates paintings replete with rolling landscapes and intricate fauna from his living-room chair.

Admission is free-of-charge.
