Curated by young artist-curator Ian Tee, the exhibition comprises over 20 works by an intergenerational lineup of 15 artists, including Amanda Heng, Lim Yew Kuan, Anthony Poon, Shubigi Rao, Tang Da Wu, Tan Guo-Liang and Zulkhairi Zulkiflee. It forms part of Singapore Art Week 2022 and is supported by the National Arts Council Singapore.
The show presents a rare opportunity to revisit different moments in history in one setting, and discover unexpected early works by artists we might be familiar with. Though these pieces vary in approach, medium and subject matter, they all manifest a youthful spirit of fearlessness, experimentation and vulnerability.
