“Wild Fragments” is a solo exhibition by Valerie Ng, where her observations of fragments of nature connect with experiments in eco-friendly art making. Showcasing a collection of abstract views through an atmospheric ecosystem, the artworks are a creative response to interactions with nature and the wonders of the wild.
Featured are works in papier-mâché, using scrap paper and canvas scraps sewn together for a greener footprint, as well as augmented reality (AR) views that digitally enhance the narrative. Also showcasing paintings in oil on canvas, a continual exploration of organic forms, natural phenomena and hues, through distinctive mark making and textural surfaces inspired by nature.
