Without Beginning / Without End is award-winning graffiti artist Farhan Siki’s solo exhibition at Linda Gallery.
Siki’s works use symbols of mass culture, brand logos, classic images, and world news headlines. It reflects and relates to 21st century Pop Culture global problems: climate change, the energy crisis, and the threat of wars, reviewing the social role of art in shaping a better life.
Farhan Siki was born in East Java in 1971. Siki started as a mural/street artist. He is known for his unique stencil patterns in paintings that confront contemporary society and consumer culture. Today Siki is, without a doubt, Indonesia’s prominent graffiti artist who has quickly risen in the ranks, and important international collectors now seek his works. Siki is regarded as “ASIA’S BANKSY” by Vogue Italia and was awarded 2022 Painting of the Year (POY) in the UOB Indonesia painting competition.
