Featuring 45 major works from early 80s to present, the artist will also be holding his first art book launch on the opening day of the event, written by Seng Yun Jin Senior Curator of the National Gallery of Singapore.
In “living with objects”, the exhibiton explores Siak Goon’s endless journey as an artist developing from his earliest abstract paintings to his own unique style over the period of 30 years. Viewers will experience a different perspective of looking at the world that we live in through his gentle nude figures, tropical landscape works and objects. Discover how he incorporates other elements of his life experiences into his developed work with figures surrounded by the intimate objects in our daily lives.
