This year, the 7th edition of the Singapore International Photography Festival (SIPF) is bringing the acclaimed Inside Out project to Singapore for the first time.
From 30 October onwards, Inside Out Singapore’s mobile photo booth, an instant printing truck, will make several pit stops around different parts of Singapore to capture the portraits of everyday people.

With the purpose of exploring the nuances of the nation’s uniquely diverse community, black and white poster-sized portraits of participants will be printed and exhibited at specific pit stop locations. Through the medium of these monochrome portraits, this global participatory art project aims to transform personal messages of identity into art for public consumption.

The public is also welcome to volunteer to be a part of the exhibition team, in helping to paste the poster-sized printouts of the portraits on walls and pavements around Singapore. To volunteer and be a part of the exhibition team, please register here: https://tinyurl.com/insideoutvolunteer.
